ARTICHOKE DIP

  8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. sour cream
10-12 oz. grated cheddar cheese
14 oz. artichoke hearts (in water)
1 bunch green onions
6 cloves garlic
2 T butter
1 round bread
 

Brown garlic and onions in butter.
Cut cream cheese into pieces.
Drain artichoke hearts and chop.
Mix together the above, plus the cheddar cheese and sour cream.
Cut the top off the bread. Hollow out the bread and put in mixture.
Put the top back on the bread.
Double wrap in foil and bake 2 hours at 350 degrees.
Serve with crackers or sliced sour dough.
