1/4 cup lemon juice
3/4 cup vegetable oil or light olive oil
2 garlic cloves, pressed or very finely diced
1 tsp sugar
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp anchovy paste, optional

Mix together. If you whisk together you will get a vinaigrette consistency. If you mix in a blender or with an immersion blender you will get a thick, creamy texture.
