SLOW-COOKED SOUTH AFRICAN BBQ CHICKEN
(KRAFT recipe -- serves 12)


3 lb. boneless skinless chicken (if using chicken breast halves, cut each in half)
1 1/2 cups (1 18-oz. bottle) KRAFT THICK 'N SPICY Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce
1 cup chicken broth
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup dried apricots, quartered
1/2 cup golden raisins
1 Tbsp curry powder
3 cloves garlic, minced
6 cups hot cooked long grain white or brown rice


Place chicken in slow cooker. Combine all remaining ingredients except rice; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours (or on HIGH 5 hours). Serve over rice.
